Information collected
When you subscribe, the site collects your email address, your explicit newsletter consent, the consent version and timestamp, the page where you subscribed, and available campaign-attribution parameters. The signup form is for editorial updates, not a claim, compensation request, or request for legal representation.
When configured, PostHog collects limited usage information such as page views, entry page, traffic source, link clicks, and feature interactions. This site does not use Google Analytics 4. Reasonable technical logs may be processed by Cloudflare to provide and protect the service.
How information is used
Subscriber information is used to deliver and measure independent case updates, maintain consent records, prevent abuse, and improve the publication. General newsletter consent is not consent to share personally identifiable information with attorneys or other commercial parties.
Service providers
Cloudflare hosts the site and Worker endpoint. Resend stores newsletter contacts when that integration is active. PostHog provides product analytics when a project key is configured. Each provider processes data under its own terms and privacy commitments.
Retention and choices
Subscriber records are retained while a subscription remains active and as reasonably necessary for consent, suppression, security, and legal records. Every delivered newsletter should include an unsubscribe method. To request access, correction, or deletion, use the contact page.
Children and sensitive submissions
The site is intended for business and legal-information audiences, not children. Do not send confidential legal materials, account passwords, payment data, or privileged communications.
